With winter just behind us not all of the hiking trails are easily accessible but a couple of our favorite early season trails that are completely clear are the Trout Creek Trail and the Legacy Trail.  Perfect for hiking or biking.

It’s not every year you can ski on Mother’s Day so grab your Spring skiing gear and head for the slopes.  Still open are Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows or Mt Rose!

  1. Get On it

May is the perfect time to take a road trip – the weather is beautiful and traffic is light.    Take a drive around Lake Tahoe - the lake is so full that it is a sight to see! Or head north on CA89 to Lassen Volcanic Park for a treat.
