Granite, water, and a real Olympic Valley climb
Shirley Canyon starts in Olympic Valley at Palisades Tahoe and climbs through granite, creek crossings, seasonal waterfalls, and forest toward Shirley Lake. It is one of the classic hikes on this side of the valley.
When the water is running, the trail has a lot of energy. When the rock is wet, it also asks for care.
